#i’ve literally scoured all my thor comics for a quote that encompasses him and i can’t find one #how do i fit it all into one quote? his compassion his bravery his kindness his nobility #how when he believed he was dying his last words were to let his wife know that he loved her #how he not only forgave the brother that wronged him time and time again but brought him back from the dead #because he could not ‘imagine his present life without him’ despite everything he’d done #how he fights mortals with a fraction of his power because he doesn’t want to fatally wound them #he’s the fucking epitome of worthy no one has ever been more worthy

though a well recognized fixture around several of the city’s chruches, known for his prostrations of thanks to all donors, it was only recently discovered that he has donated every penny he has collected — over 40,000 euros — towards the restoration of decaying bulgarian monasteries and churches and the utility bills of orphanages, living entirely off his monthly state pension of 80 euros and the kindness of others.
